Tina Zhang was born in Zhejiang Province, China.  She moved to the United States in 2009 to undertake a Master’s of Public Administration, majoring in public policy research and analysis, at the University of Pittsburgh.  Tina was active in the Pittsburgh Chinese student community as vice president of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and later served as a senior advisor.

Upon graduation, Tina worked for the Institute for International Studies in Education at the University of Pittsburgh, and as chief translator and program assistant for the Higher Education Administrators Training Program with Wuhan University.  She also worked for the nonprofit Idea Foundry and its subsidiary Pittsburgh Regional Investment Center.  Most recently, Tina joined the Pennsylvania Center in Shanghai as a liaison officer on her return to China.  Contact Tina for more information about study and life at the University of Pittsburgh.
